School used to be a franchise of Billabong group, started operations in 2004 -
broke up with franchisee owners in 2005
Instituted a bogus PTA in 2007 with the sole intention of hiking fees - which were anyways the highest among ICSE schools in Bombay - Rs. 55000 per year.
Parents complained to Edu dpt, including Edu min - nothing happened,
Fee hike was announced in March 2008- bringing it to 82000 per year - higher than even dhirubhai.
Parents petitioned the CM - he ordered an inquiry - nothing happened.
Writ petition 722 filed by parents on 24th march 2008
May 2009 - case was withdrawn with order passed by justice Deshmukh directing edu dpt to study the matter and decide on fees.
Edu dpt - passed their order End June -
School did not implement - alleging it was just a recommendation.

FIR filed by parents in July 2009 - under anti capitation act
Threat recd by the main petitioner Avisha Kulkarni, passed on by an impecable close contact, recording of threat available- same was relayed to the police - who called the trustee Rustom kerawala to th police station and instructed him to ensure that no harm came to mother or child.
School files writ petition 1919 and 1925 in Hc - asking for stay on order, parents are made respondents along with governmnt.
Case is still in court - next hearing is on June 15th
June 2nd 2010 - school expels Adishri gopalkrishan - daughter of Avisa Kulkarni - alleging that she has filed false complaints and has raised slogans against the principal, academic year started on 7th of June. Fees for academic year 2010 -11 had been accepted from this child in may - School issued TC dated april 2010- and sent a check back with the same by courier to parent.

Notice served to school - for withdrawal of NOC if child not re-admitted within 2 days.
June 9th - 4 pm onwards : School calls parents to report to school in 15 minutes - teachers ask parents to sign letters of support to the school ( attatched)
most parent unable to refuse and sign the same.
